Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before you book. A booking is confirmed once we have received a signed copy and your deposit (see section 1).

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking with Scrantastic Buffets is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed copy of booking terms and payment of the deposit. Until both are received, the date remains available to other clients.

2. Deposit & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total agreed price is required to confirm a booking.
• The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. Bookings made within 7 days require full payment upfront.
• Payment by bank transfer only. Account Name: Scrantastic Buffets.

3. Cancellation

• More than 14 days before event: deposit forfeited, no further charge.
• Within 14 days: 50% of total due.
• Within 7 days: 100% of total due.

4. Final Numbers

Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 7 days before the event and may not be reduced after this point.

5. Allergens & Dietary Requirements

• All dietary requirements must be declared at the time of booking.
• Scrantastic cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.
• No liability is accepted for requirements not declared prior to the preparation date.

6. Service & Responsibilities

• All food is prepared fresh on the morning of the event in accordance with Scrantastic's HACCP Food Safety Management System (cold assembly only).
• The client is responsible for ensuring adequate table space is available at the venue.
• Food is delivered and set up by Jamie McLees personally. Responsibility for food passes to the event organiser upon departure.
• Scrantastic holds valid Public Liability Insurance. A copy is available on request.

7. Referral Scheme

Every confirmed client receives a personal referral code. Anyone referred using a valid code receives a complimentary add-on on their first booking. The referring client receives a thank you reward, increasing with the number of successful referrals made. Codes have no cash value. Scrantastic reserves the right to amend the scheme at any time, with earned rewards honoured.

8. Photography

Scrantastic may photograph food displays for marketing purposes. No guests will be photographed without consent. Notify us in writing before the event if you do not wish any photography.
